Aqueous FFD Series dispersion provides a 45% concentrate of flourescent pigment for simple addition to water based paints. Supplied as a user-friendly flowable liquid to avoid the problems of handling dry powder pigment. FFD series dispersions contain various modifiers including wetting agents, pigment suspension agents, anti-foam agent, and an anti-freeze agent to aid the stability of water paints systems. Fluorescent pigments are organic resinous compositions which make them reactive with certain water based paint ingredients, including casein, soy protein, polyvinyl alcohol, active monomers, plasticizers, and coalescing solvents. This reactivity shows up as thickening gelation, agglomeration and loss of fluidity. Formulations should be tested for shelf stability.
